Eggnog Oatmeal

Robbie offers this seasonal oatmeal as a holiday breakfast special. Note: steel cut oats are
chewier and more flavorful than regular oats.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • cups steel cut oats

Instructions
 

  • Bring dairy just to a boil.
  • Stir in oats and salt, reduce the heat, and simmer uncovered for 6 minutes or until desired texture. [Mine cooked for 12 minutes, check the oatmeal package for cooking time].
  • Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Serve hot.
