Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • 6 medium unpeeled tart red apples, sliced
  • ¾ cup sugar-Divided
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large skillet.
  • Add apples and ½ cup sugar; stir to mix well.
  • Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until the apples are tender, stirring frequently.
  • Add remaining sugar and cinnamon.
  • Cook and stir over medium-high heat 5 to 10 minutes longer.
