Papaya Smoothie from a cozy mystery Mango Mambo and Murder by Raquel V Reyes

Papaya Smoothie (Batida de fruta bomba/Papaya Smoothie)

In Cuba and in the Cuban diaspora, we call papaya fruta bomba. Why? Well, let me put it to you this way: papaya is crude slang for part of the female anatomy. So, when you are in Miami at a ventanita or lunch counter, order it as a batida de fruta bomba.
